My grandmother told me to not bother anything that is not bothering me. She lived to be 106, and she had surgeries, but never chemo, nor would she take medicine. She had home remedies for everything, and she taught me. I am 67 now, and will not live as long as she did, because of the poisoned food and air, but I do take her advice, and stay the hell away from doctors. I do not want to be broke, so I will probably go to Cuba, if I need medical care. I rather pay 5 cents for a pill, that costs 500 dollars here. Greedy.

I believe in my heart that there is a cure for cancer, but they (pharmaceutical and drug companies) don’t want to reveal it. Why? Because there would be alot of people out of business, such as, oncologists, drug companies, etc. Get the picture. I was told that after they found a cure for Polio, the drug companies expressed that they would never again find a cure for a disease because they would be out of business over night. What a shame, that needless suffering and dying has to occur because drug companies don’t want us healed…..

This notion that there is a cure for cancer being kept from us is very old and very specious.If in fact the drug companies had a a cure they would sell it to us, and we’d pay the same price for it as we do for the treatments we receive now for cancer.This is along the same lines of the another old myth: the automobile manufacturers have an engine that gets 100 (200, whatever) miles per gallon, but it’s being kept from us by the oil industry. How the oil industry could possibly control the automotive industry would be interesting to have explained.

Sad, but true. My parents were married for 53 years and were both diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease within 6 months of each other. I approached the University of Virginia Neurological Dept. and asked them to do a study to determine how this happened, but there was no interest. I was politely informed that there were no dollars for such a study, only dollars for clinical trials on more drugs, and none offered a cure. They might stall the progression of the disease at best. The quality of life is poor, but they live longer, and the pharmaceutical companies benefit and the doctors are kept in business. No one wants to know why or find a cure.

Rickfaith, I agree with you! I also believe that a cure for cancer will never be ‘found’.

I am a 4th stage survivor, also.
As a teenager I went through 13 months of pure torture; surgeries, tests, needles, chemotherepy, etc…
My doctor told my mom that my only chance was extreme chemo and that, “if the cancer didn’t kill me, the chemo could.”
Don’t get me wrong, the doctor and hospital care I received were exceptional! I even named my son after my doctor!! They saved my life using the best treatments that were available to them. They were compassionate, caring and informative. They worked tirelessly to cure me and never gave up hope!
That was 24 years ago. I have been healthy ever since and even went on to have 2 children, something I was told would probably not be possible.
A true miracle, but I never should’ve had to go through all of that in the first place! A cure should’ve been developed years ago.
Let’s face it… our country is run – and financed – by insurance and pharmaceutical companies.
Politicians are financially backed by these companies, so they will never force them to change, and the ‘Big Business’ policies will never change, either.
As a patient, you have to take your health and treatment into your own hands. You need to educate yourself and explore your options. You need to ask lots of questions and make your doctors explain everything they are doing and why. Alternate therepies should also be discussed and remember, you are in charge! NOT your doctor. NOT your insurance company! If you are not comfortable with your doctor, find a new one!!
It is your life and your choice!

I feel that you are right, BUT(no pune intended) What would I do if faced with this ; I dont Know ? Myself(and dont want to know )
I do not give anything to the AMA or The Cancer Society people; so I should either Give or Shut Up and take it when and if IT comes.Is there another way ?????

Before my father died of lung cancer in 1999, he told me that there was a cure for cancer, but the pharmaceutical companies and MDs will not tell us. He said that he should have taken better care of himself and been more aware of his options. Since 2003, I’ve lost two friends to breast cancer, and then I, in 2005, was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer with a 78% return rate – surgery, chemo and radiation followed. I contribute the cancer to stress, diet and weight, and have taken measures to manage the stress, improve my eating habits, exercise and make every effort to maintain a healthy weight. The cure for cancer is in front of us, and we must never forget that the pharmas and MDs are only trained to “treat” the disease, not “cure” cancer, though some are trying to place more emphasis on “prevention,” which should be our personal goal in the first place.

The AMA is a damned money making joke. Slash. burn & poison is all the the cancer industry knows or cares about. Your insurance money is what keeps those bastards as well as the jew owned phamaceutical companies in business. You would have a better chance playing Russian roulette. I know, I’m a level 4 melanoma survivor now for 10 years. After I let them cut most of my left ear off and nuke the crap out of the left side of my head, I descided to take matters in my own hands. I refused the Chemo and further treatments and worked on my faith in God, my immune system and my mental attitude. My advise– don’t let them play God with your life. Read and understand everything you can about cancer and it’s treatments before you just let some overly trained idiot take your life into his own hands. It’s all a big scam. The research only finds new costly methods of treatment. They will never find a cure nor do they ever want to find a cure–keeps to many people employed in the hospitals and the phamaceuticals. That’s the facts and that’s the way the damned system works. We are all just Guinnie pigs to the big establishment.
