The fact is there is money for medical research, and that money can be found in other programs that are of less use to the USA. For example, why do we give so much money to other countries in the form of Foreign Aid, instead of spending it here on medical research. Did you know Israel gets in excess of three BILLION dollars a year, every year, from America? Israel also gets money from other countries. I respectfully submit that Israel can get by just fine without any US Foreign Aid. Money for Medical Research, and none for foreign aid.
