i have been most fortunate, having neurosurgery last year. my left hippocampus was removed and i no longer suffer from seizures…and for the first time in my life, i am off all seizure meds. my seizures were traced by eeg to one specific place in my brain, where an mri scan showed scarred brain tissue. given an 80% change or better of never having another seizure, i told the brain surgery to “just do it.”

Fantastic! As I child I developed Epilepsy from a hit to the head. I would like to believe that I was healed by the Lord. Because of the traumatic experience I have studied everything I can to understand my condition. Some scientist think it is a chemical/electrical imbalances in the brain. When studying sciences you understand that some elements have a greater conductivity than others. I also understood because a sort of many things could send me into a seizure. Maybe someone should do a study on anaphylactic shock which is what could of happened to the boy with the stings. I truly believe there is a cure better than these horrible medicines out their. Maybe it will be found soon.

Thank you Marcia, I find your story fascinating. My daughter Ashley has suffered from uncontrolled seizures since she was four and she is now twenty three. I do believe there are healing properties in honey and I think it is definitely worth while investigating bee venom. I am glad that your cousin got his happy ending and I pray that Ashley will get hers also. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a comment.

My cousin had Epilepsy since he was a child till his teens. One day he was out in the country at a friend’s farm and they were playing soccer. Someone kicked the ball and it went down a hill and he went after it. The ball had hit a beehive on the way down the hill. The bees attacked my cousin while he ran screaming. A farm hand sprayed him down with water wiping off the bees and put him a barrel of water. He called for help and my cousin was taken to a hospital, his body was all swollen. After this incident he never had an attack again. Go figure… maybe there’s a cure using bee stings but not as many stings as he got.
