How Better Health is Achieved by Eliminating Negative States of Life?

In life, there are many things affecting your health. You probably have a good idea of what the things are in your life that is causing you to feel unhealthy or healthy. So being at your healthiest should be a simple process of eliminating the bad stuff, and increasing the good stuff – right?

Right! Well that’s where the trick comes in. At this point you might realize that nearly everything affects your health, and therefore, a holistic approach is needed for increased health and vitality. But where do you start? Here is a simple strategy to get you going on the road to true health:

Compile a list of things that are:

1. Improving your health

- Everything that improves your physical, mental, emotional and social well-being

2. Having a negative impact on your health

- Everything that has a negative effect on your physical, mental, emotional and social well-being

Take a few minutes to compile these lists. Once complete, you have a true health hit-list and it is time to become a bit creative. For everything in your life that is improving your health, you now have to write down how you can make sure you have more of these in your life starting NOW! (one strategy per activity to make time for). Then we have to do the same for the negative list, only on this side we have to write down practical steps that you can immediately implement to reduce these negative things in your life, or even better, to remove them completely.

Simple enough, but this is an evolving process and the exercise can be done over and over to keep improving your overall health and making you a better person, one strategy at a time.

Do not be fooled by the simplicity of this exercise, because in the simplicity, lies its power. It uses the power of your mind-body connection to manifest the true health that you deserve. Apply it daily to achieve your true health and you will be rewarded by true health of your physical, mental, emotional and social self.
