This is bull. Oversimplistic and just not true. Wheather someone is optimistic or pessimistic has everything to do with mood. Depressed people can’t be optimistic any more than a drunk person can pass a driving test. This is neurology. We inherit temperment. Mood is genetic and caused by our experiences in life. Tramatized people are more likely to be depressed and thus pessimistic. We all have a romance with death that becomes stronger as we get older. It’s healthy to embrace life and normal to desire releif from our concerns. If you can control your mood, you can control your life.
