Its obvious we live in a world where money is a very important part of our security and feeling safe in the world. I would say it is sad too. On the other hand, that has happened also because we do not have (nor need) the knowledge about how to survive without money. Its the way our society has taught us to live. I wonder what would happen if we all knew how to grow our own food, make bread, build a house out of “rubble”, cure ourselves with herbs, defend and protect ourselves, etc…? I’m sure we wouldn’t be so distressed over money. We’ve lost (or are losing) that survival part of ourselves, of course, we probably really don’t need it. Ever thought about that?

It is quite disheartening to read this article and see where we as human beings have progressed to. It obviously says we value our possessions and money as a means of inclusion or acceptance, rather than the type of people we are on the inside. Sad!

This study seems flawed to me. There’s nothing blank or empty about being blessed. Maybe instead of blank pieces of paper they should have written down something they are grateful for.Just a thought.

I like this article a lot, I myself have been rolling in money in my younger days and the very poor in my late middle age and now back to being a lot better off money wise. Believe me having extra money at hand and not having to worry about paying the bills makes your life a lot better.
