I have read all of these postings and find many issues to in agreement to all……..may I share my own story, I have been a working class female all of my life; had my share of good income despite the fact I was never able to afford upper education beyond high school. I did however approach this in a different light and headed forth in attending trade schools thereby obtaining a variety of certificates, that being said and despite all of the work I placed into this level of education I find myself once again making low wages and the loss of a decent income of which for me was merely and greatful to have earned 50,000 + on varied years……..today I make less than half of that amount and live in fear of ending up in the streets…that being said I see people come into this country and obtaining services and money from our government in which allow this to go on and thereby the shape we are in……. add to this the disfunction of upper management that treat you like second class citizens and outright tell me and fellow co-workers keep up with the demand of the job or you will be replaced by someone else who will do the work for less than you……In short this is the same way that our government treats its citizen and thus the after math of employers who abuse the workering class and have contributed to the declien of work. Their greed is beyond anything anyone could have imagined it would have turned into such as our government……..we are war over money, nothing less and anyone thinking it is to protect the Iraqs or anyone from that part of the world is sadly mistaken…….after all folks that culture and its surrounding neighbors have been at war A HOLY WAR for over 200 years…….what makes anyone think our involvement will eliminate the problem it will not, what I have studied is WAR presents money earned and keeps a selected few and selected industries in business and that of employment status……and until we all recognize this we will continue to decline in our financial whoas and realted sentiment……….thus those that turn to government assistance are only playing the deck of cards the government themselves have allowed to give them and in the end who are we to judge, after all we all placed our politics in office………its those very same people that have contributed to the decline of our system and no one else. AMERICANS stopped talking, stopped taking action, stopped getting involved many many many years ago and now we are all paying for it.

This comment is for magpie. I do not agree with alot of what you are saying. There are alot of people that were middle WORKING class that are now under the poverty line. These people have worked all of their lives for what they have and loose their jobs. There is not many jobs out there right now. I have worked all of my life for everything that I have. But, when I lost my job and applied for Unemployment Benefits I found that they are so low that there is no way that I will be able to pay my bills and eat too. With 100′s of resumes out there I still do not have a job offer. I was in upper management. My company closed its doors. So, this put me under the poverty line when I was used to making 100k a year. So, do not say that everyone wants something for free and act like you are the only one that has worked for what you have. This angers alot of people that have worked so hard and found that nothing is forever. I pray that you never have to find out what it is like to have your whole world turned upside down like I have along with many other Americans.

with no jobs n America for many paents what are they supposed t do Rob a bank and then go to jal while the state takes ther kids for good ? The shame is the illegals tha have these jobs and do not have t even pay taxes as theyget paid under the table. YES the government should hel them. # 1 ia send the illegals back to where they came from/ They are breaking the laws and so are the people that hire them. # 2 we as americans shold hold Obama to his word about the big changes he promised while on the campaign road. I see no big changes yet. Money that was mostly sent overseas to help them. Just what country is Obama president of? changes have to come with the illegals first. If we asan american broke the law we would be brought into court with no questions asked. This is a must by president Obama. So let them take rsponsibility for their own country and get on their own feet not on ours. It is no secret that Obama and the Senators plus Congress now this. THEY ARE DEAD WRONG. They took an oath to protect this country and are not doing it. I feel betrayedas an American who paid their taxes while working. It is up to the governmentto send the illegals back home to where they came from and let the American peole ave the jobs the are entitled to. ILLEGAL are outlaws. Every American should vote OUT every government official who does not protect this country. If they are in politics for the money they should be booted out and honest ones put in and that encludes president Omama who will not even declare himself not a citizen of this country. Do you really think under those false documents he will send the illegals back home ? I DO NOT. Pay attention to what is going on in this country or lose it.

Excuse me, since when is it the government’s problem to bail out millions under the provety line. I am getting so sick of people thinking that they are entitled. Entitled to have a credit card, entitled to have TV, entitled to have a home. I didn’t grow up this way, and I had to work for everything I had. I was broke once, I had to go to school. I didn’t lie around asking what was going to happen to me and my kids. AND Then expect the government to save me. Please
