Believe it or not, I also think that avoiding eating RAW red meat and not eating fat also has something to do with this. I’m a meat eater but will not eat steak or meat unless it is thoroughly cooked. I also don’t eat a lot of fat greasy foods or meat. The only time I’ll eat a pork product is if it’s in pepperoni or supreme pizza. My waist size is only two inches bigger since I graduated from college. Meanwhile I have old high school friends and college buddies who have put on a pot belly. They also take longer to urinate when going to the restroom. I have no problems at all. I also avoid steroid fed chicken as they are said to play havoc with horomones. In fact it’s suspected that little girls mature earlier and want to have kids because of eating chickens the size of turkey. I also won’t eat a turkey if it looks like the incredible Hulk.

i wack it every day and have s3x 3x per week at least and i got prostate cancer. went from 4 to 10 on gleason scale in 6 months so much for your bullshit study.i also eat tomatoes and garlic EVERYDAY so much for lycopene. i believe its ALL hereditary.I had TWO grandfathers that smoked non stop one lived to 93 the other 88, the one that lived to 93 drank a half gallon of vino everyday, and they both worked industrial jobs,long before anyone gave a damn about pollution or workers health and safety,

Robin, you have an interesting thought. I wonder if then menstruation is useful to prevent buildup of the toxins. Maybe women after menopause should wash out or something? I am no doctor, just throwing out ideas.

I read your article. I published a paper back in 1972-1975 regarding prostate gland does not have sufficient cytochrom P-450, an metabolic enzyme involed in both activation and detoxification of precarcinogens. Most of carcnogens require metabolis activation by liver cytochromes. Prostate gland, has almost no detectable cytochrome P-450s unless prostate is exposed to enrironmental tetrachloro-para-dibenzodioxins (TCDD). TCDD is now accumlative in our encironment from gabbage incineratoers as well as industrial waste systems.If a man is a smoker since TCDD environmental contamination is very stable and ubiquitous, the cause of increase in prostate cancer can be attributed to prostate gland’s capability to activate precarcinogens due to TCDD’s ability to activate normally inactive cytochrome p-450 genes in prostate gland. Consequently, I would expect woman married to heavy smokers may at higher risk for cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancers. Further epidemiological studies are need to substantiate this conjecture.

If carcinogens are present in the male fluid and the ejaculate is then introduced into the female, what then becomes of the carcinogen(s)? Does this then put the female at risk for cancer also? Please respond a.s.a.p. Thank you.
