I constantly get second-guessed in my practice by the families of patients who "know somebody who..." and either advise against what I have recommended or criticize my treatment after the fact. I just tell the patient that I hope they're not being charged for the bad advice. It's just human nature, though, and I TRY not to lose any sleep over it. Amen to that.
