This is disgustingly sexist. At first I thought it was a joke, but then I didn’t see a punchline. What would women think if a man wrote an article categorically dismissing their contributions?
Yes, women have made many wonderful advances, and as a teenage girl who fully intends on having a successful career, I’m grateful for the struggles my grandmothers’ generation went through to give me that opportunity. But I have a brother and several male friends who are smart, hardworking people and I expect they will be at least as successful as most girls I know.
Men and women have, on average, different qualities. They workforce needs some patient, tolerant, peacemakers, but it also needs some driven aggressive people who can fire someone or make an enemy if needed. Some people of both genders express either personality, but the first is more frequent in women and the second in men.
As for the assertion that men cannot do anything without women, look at the history of civilization. Most major accomplishments happened while almost all women were not educated or allowed to make decisions. This was wrong, and there would probably have been more major accomplishments if women were allowed to be leaders, artists, and intellectuals, but you cannot deny men’s abilities.
