I'm old enough to have seen the breakup of the glass ceiling. Back then, I too thought that women who replaced men executives would rule differently. Not so.

Women are also catty backstabbers. I'm saying this as a woman. And we're not all nurturing caretakers. People constantly try to put these qualities on us to limit us to nursing and teaching jobs but some women like working with numbers, their hands, etc. Women are just as nasty as men, they don't have the strength, courage and gumption that men do. After 20 years in the workforce, I can honestly say I have to watch my back around women just as much as men. They can be just as treacherous and nasty. And the reason they've been kicked around throughout history is because they're weak and passive and not very bright.

That is a very powerful generalization. I do not blog and do not participate much on the web except to read and for news. I saw this and had to reply. Firstly, what study was done, how was it done and what were the final numbers. I am a single father. My son is in the second grade and has won the science award at his school two years running now. My daughter unfortunately remains in a less than favorable environment because of an obvious courtroom bias and custody battle that reduced me to where I am at today. I live and survive well below the poverty level. Yet, I own my home have three "running" vehicles paid for, a college degree and two dogs. I have served in the armed forces, worked in hospitals as a lab tech, director of environmental services and as a materials manager. I have held several other positions with companies that were predominately women. I have faced the courts, social service's and counselors regarding my children. Remember, I said I was a "single" dad. Meaning, I have my son and joint custody of my girl. I and my chidren bare the scars of what women can do. Here is some food for thought.
Immediately, when women entered the workforce, there were twice as many people to the same amount of jobs. Now, it takes two incomes to run a household comfortably for most. Women were no longer raising their children. Kids no longer exhibit the moral fibers they once had. Blame TV, think that you can raise a child and work 50 hours a week if you want to, but the writing is on the wall.
I do not blame women, blacks, tibetan's or anyone who has limits "placed" on their potential, integrity, freedoms or whatever for wanting the boundaries removed, but be aware hell hath no fury as a women scorned and they carry their passive aggressive, ruthless, manipulative tactics into the workplace everyday. I their own self-righteous bias they will pass judgement on another for jealousies and antimosities that have nothing to do with that person and will ruin their careers and lives without a blink. I am sorry, women have brought the workplace into a whole new level of deceit that have opened a floodgate of chaos into the world.
As far as any numbers that may back up my claims. Just take every study done on crime, juvenile problems, gang enrollment, economic, pay increase v/s inflation and so on and so forth. I would imagine the rate of escalation correlates relatively close to the numbers of women in the workforce and their circumstances at home.
As long as articles like this focus on these kinds of subjects, no one will ever get along. Give me my rib back and we will call it even. I seem to remember something about an apple an why we have sin in this world to begin with. This article is point proven, thank you.

This is disgustingly sexist. At first I thought it was a joke, but then I didn't see a punchline. What would women think if a man wrote an article categorically dismissing their contributions?

Yes, women have made many wonderful advances, and as a teenage girl who fully intends on having a successful career, I'm grateful for the struggles my grandmothers' generation went through to give me that opportunity. But I have a brother and several male friends who are smart, hardworking people and I expect they will be at least as successful as most girls I know.

Men and women have, on average, different qualities. They workforce needs some patient, tolerant, peacemakers, but it also needs some driven aggressive people who can fire someone or make an enemy if needed. Some people of both genders express either personality, but the first is more frequent in women and the second in men.

As for the assertion that men cannot do anything without women, look at the history of civilization. Most major accomplishments happened while almost all women were not educated or allowed to make decisions. This was wrong, and there would probably have been more major accomplishments if women were allowed to be leaders, artists, and intellectuals, but you cannot deny men's abilities.
